A custom colour LUT created from my own Super 8 workflow, built around footage shot on the Canon 310XL using Kodak Vision3 200T film stock and scanned in Log.

Designed to give Log Super 8 footage a finished, cinematic starting point while keeping everything that makes the format special — warm skin tones, rich colour, soft contrast and natural highlight roll-off.

The LUT has been developed specifically around real-world wedding footage, with the aim of keeping the image nostalgic and organic without pushing it into an overly stylised or artificial “film look”.

The look
Warm, understated and nostalgic, with gentle contrast, controlled saturation and a slightly softer palette inspired by the character of real Super 8 film.

This LUT is intended as a creative starting point. Exposure, white balance and scan characteristics will vary between labs and rolls, so small adjustments may be required after applying the LUT.
