Rossie on the Earn wedding

Kirsty & Graeme’s Wedding at Rossie on the Earn — A Love Story Built on Laughter, Loyalty & Denim Shorts

There’s something truly magical about a wedding that feels like a celebration of everything real and joyful in life — and that’s exactly what Kirsty and Graeme created at Rossie on the Earn.

Their love story began back in 2019, not with fireworks, but in a busy primary school where two newly qualified teachers — one with impeccable handwriting and a deep voice, the other standing on a desk in denim shorts decorating her classroom — started something quietly extraordinary. From swapping stories and decompressing after long days to becoming each other’s safe space, Kirsty and Graeme’s connection began as a friendship rooted in laughter, loyalty, and an unspoken understanding.

By 2021, it was clear this wasn’t just friendship anymore. A walk at Tentsmuir Beach (with Benjie the dog, not a pupil!) sparked something more, and their story quickly evolved. They moved in together, navigated new jobs, house moves, and even a surprise pregnancy that turned their world upside down — in the best possible way. Enter Mercedes, their snack-obsessed, giggle-filled daughter who brings even more light into their lives.

In classic Graeme fashion, the proposal was thoughtful, low-key, and full of love: carved pumpkins, candles, a homemade steak dinner, and one very surprised Kirsty — who unknowingly smuggled her own engagement ring through customs months before.

Their wedding day was full of everything that defines them: heart, humour, and a few tears (mainly from Graeme). They shared personal vows, let their daughter Sadie sprinkle magic over the rings, and invited their guests to contribute to a “bucket list jar” for future adventures. From hot air balloon rides to sipping champagne over the Grand Canyon — it was a day of dreams, big and small.

Kirsty and Graeme are teammates in every sense — supporting each other through the noise, the mess, and the magic. Their love is built on honesty, snacks, karaoke (Natasha Bedingfield, anyone?), and cuddles on the couch. They’re raising a family, building a home, and showing their daughter what love truly looks like.

And on this beautiful day at Rossie on the Earn, they made it official — sealing it all with laughter, tears, and one unforgettable kiss.
